The Prybar is one of the Tools found in The Long Dark.
Description
- A beat up prybar. Useful for opening locked containers.
Usage
- Used to pry open locked containers, car trunks, and lockers.
- Can be used to break open ice fishing holes.
- Provides a 10% attack bonus when fending off wolves.
- Cannot be repaired.
Harvest
- Harvesting a Prybar yields 2 Scrap Metal.

Can be found at the following locations:
Coastal Highway
- Quonset Gas Station.
- Log Sort.
- Randomly inside trailers, most common in the Mountain Trailers.
- Possibly beside corpse behind one of the Mountain Shacks.
- Cinder Hills Coal Mine, possibly more than 1.
- Inside cars, usually on the backseat.
Pleasant Valley
