Infection risk is one of the Afflictions that can affect the player in The Long Dark. It is usually obtained after a fight with Wolves or a Bear.

Effect

Infection risk, by itself, does not harm the player. However, if the condition is not treated, it will develop into an Infection.

Treatment

Old Man's Beard Wound Dressing can be used to treat infection or, Antiseptic will need to be used.
