Infection is one of the Afflictions the player can be afflicted with in The Long Dark. It can be obtained after being attacked by Wolves or a Bear, and when the player did not treat the Infection risk that came before it.
Effects[]
Infection takes off a hefty chunk of Condition when it's obtained, and will steadily decrease Condition until it is treated, or the player dies.
Treatment[]
To treat an infection, the player must use Antibiotics or a cup of Reishi Tea and rest.
